Two Awesome Brothers {Utah Childrens’ Photography Studio}
September 12, 2010Vacation was amazing. We are back into the swing of things and I am behind on blogging. Here is one recent studio session of two brothers. Enjoy this little peek. For all the others waiting, I hope to be caught up soon!
On another note, I entered a picture into a contest for the cover of the Professional Photographer magazine… I made the semi-finals out of over 5,000 entries. Hopefully I find out soon if I make the finals!

On vacation…
August 11, 2010I will be out of town August 11-24 and will have limited access to phone and email. While I agree that the Heber Valley is a beautiful vacation location, we are headed for a change of scenery. I will return any voicemails or emails when I return on August 24th. Watch for details about Christmas portrait specials when I return.
Little Baby K {Utah Newborn Photographer}
June 12, 2010I had the pleasure of meeting little baby K a few weeks ago. His session was a dream session. His parents listened to all of the instructions I gave them and we got great images. I think I will look into purchasing a propane heater for my newborn sessions. That thing put out a ton of heat and little K was so content to sleep. Enjoy your sneak peek!

One of my own… {Heber City Utah Childrens Photographer}
January 23, 2010I get asked all the time if I have a ton of pictures of my own kids. Sadly I always have to respond, “No.” Since I am always taking pictures of other people’s kids, I never take the time to photograph my own children. I hope to change that this year and give them equal time in front of the camera. Here is my gorgeous 4 1/2 year old daughter. She is my sweet, shy, caring one that is the peacemaker in our house. She can play for hours with any of her siblings and get along great. We love her!

January 16, 2010I had the pleasure of doing a commercial shoot for Loopty Loo Designs. They make and sell gorgeous hats, headbands, hair clips, tutus, and bags for both children and adults. We had a great set of models that did great through the long hours it took to get all of their products photographed.

Giving is Awesome! {Utah Family Photography}
November 23, 2009You know someone. You know someone who’s experienced a tragedy, is struggling to stay afloat, is raising kids while holding down more than one job, or is volunteering selflessly despite extenuating personal circumstances. You know someone who can’t afford custom photography, but who would cherish it this holiday season. You know someone who deserves a year-round reminder of their family’s spirit, love, and beauty.
You know someone. I guarantee it.
I want to know who they are, and I want to give them the chance to experience complimentary custom photography — over $1200 worth, to be exact. The winner will receive a complimentary session with Means A Lot Photography, a 16×20 gallery wrapped canvas print, and a CD containing all of the high resolution digital files with print release.
Oh, and the best part? The person who nominates the winner receives a free session and one digital file. What better reason to show some love could there possibly be, people?
The rules:
* You cannot nominate yourself, and the person nominated must sincerely be incapable of purchasing my services. (Being unable to make mortgage payments for a two-million-dollar-vacation-home in Paris does not qualify as sincere financial need.)
* The nominee must reside within a 1 hour drive of Heber City, UT. Tell me who you know, what they’re experiencing, and why they deserve my artwork. Please include a way to contact both your nominee and yourself as well.
* The winning session will take place before July 31, 2010.

One Year Old and So Sweet! {Park City Photographer}
October 24, 2009I had the pleasure of having this little miss in studio a few days ago. She just turned one and was a lot of fun! I just love little girls in pettiskirts! Plan ahead for February… I will be doing a day of Pettiskirt Mini-sessions in studio to get ready for Valentines Day!
