Despite below zero temperatures and a foot of snow, we were able to get some great family pictures for this sweet family.  We spent a total of ten minutes outside since it was so bitter cold.  (I think it was -5 at the time)

Snow doesn’t have to keep you from getting family portraits.  I will be running a “Winter Portrait” special after the New Year so you can have a memory of what our beautiful state looks like the other six months of the year.

In other news, I am officially on vacation from sessions until January.  I plan on spending the next three weeks with my children enjoying the holidays and the snow, and then my husband and I will be off to Hawaii for 9 days beginning the day after Christmas.  I will still be doing newborn sessions so please contact me so I can get you scheduled.

She came back with her whole family for a mini-session.  They all looked adorable and did such a great job. (And doesn’t mom look great?!? I need to know your secret!)

It is time for another installment of What to Wear.  Living in a resort town means that I get a lot of inquiries for Vacation Photo Shoots.  I don’t blame the people vacationing here.  It is absolutely gorgeous in this valley and it is such a great place to capture fun memories.  This version of What to Wear offers ideas for an extended family photo session.  Just think what a great gift it would be to Grandma and Grandpa to round up all the family and create a multi-generational portrait.

I had the pleasure of spending time with this gorgeous family tonight.  I think that people that live in Utah are some of the most beautiful people in the nation.  Here are 2 quick peeks.  I will post more tomorrow.

Tara, you have your hands full! You are a wonder woman! Four kids under 6 including one-year old twins…I don’t know how you do it. It was so much fun photographing your family today. Your kids were so good despite the cold and I think we got some great shots. Enjoy your sneak peak!
