Despite below zero temperatures and a foot of snow, we were able to get some great family pictures for this sweet family.  We spent a total of ten minutes outside since it was so bitter cold.  (I think it was -5 at the time)

Snow doesn’t have to keep you from getting family portraits.  I will be running a “Winter Portrait” special after the New Year so you can have a memory of what our beautiful state looks like the other six months of the year.

In other news, I am officially on vacation from sessions until January.  I plan on spending the next three weeks with my children enjoying the holidays and the snow, and then my husband and I will be off to Hawaii for 9 days beginning the day after Christmas.  I will still be doing newborn sessions so please contact me so I can get you scheduled.

For now, enjoy the snow and the beautiful mountains…

Cophia: Wow.. Amazingly breathtaking!

I’ve had a few emails and phone calls asking about the mini-sessions for Christmas Cards.  Click here for the details of them.  I only have spots for 3 outdoor mini-sessions left. The outdoor mini-sessions must take place in Heber, Midway, Charleston, Wallsburg, Kamas, Woodland, or Park City, Utah.  Call now if you want to get on the schedule!

I had the pleasure of meeting these gorgeous girls… (Don’t you love their hats?)

And they even brought along their parents to get in on the fun.

Don’t forget, the cut-off for Christmas portraits is November 21st.  Make sure you call now to get on the schedule!

Do you remember this sweet newborn?

She came back with her whole family for a mini-session.  They all looked adorable and did such a great job. (And doesn’t mom look great?!? I need to know your secret!)

Speaking of mini-sessions, I only have 3 spots left if you want an outdoor session….

It is time for another installment of What to Wear.  Living in a resort town means that I get a lot of inquiries for Vacation Photo Shoots.  I don’t blame the people vacationing here.  It is absolutely gorgeous in this valley and it is such a great place to capture fun memories.  This version of What to Wear offers ideas for an extended family photo session.  Just think what a great gift it would be to Grandma and Grandpa to round up all the family and create a multi-generational portrait.

I had the pleasure of spending time with this gorgeous family tonight.  I think that people that live in Utah are some of the most beautiful people in the nation.  Here are 2 quick peeks.  I will post more tomorrow.

Kristi Mangan: Wow... gorgeous family and that location is to die for! Love how coordinated they are! :)

This session was by far the easiest one I have ever done. You guys are just naturals at posing. I tell you what though… Tyler, you better have a gun ready for when your little miss starts dating! Enjoy your sneak peek!

katie: So beautiful!
You guys look fabulous.

Tara, you have your hands full! You are a wonder woman! Four kids under 6 including one-year old twins…I don’t know how you do it. It was so much fun photographing your family today. Your kids were so good despite the cold and I think we got some great shots. Enjoy your sneak peak!

Pearson Tribe: Beautiful...you're one talented Lady! Ok, did I sound like a complete dork when we were talking after the blessing...my brain...I swear it takes three times as long to process things right now from lack of sleep. So, website struggle is fixed...they actually gave me the wrong code. Now on to flashes...let the fun of learning that begin for me! SO excited about canvases.... pearsontribe@yahoo.com

I had the opportunity to do some fall/winter family portraits for this adorable little family. Their twin boys were so cute and well behaved! And… who can resist a little blue-eyed baby? Thanks for allowing me to photograph you!

OK, I will admit, I love taking pictures in fields. I think I just love the pastoral surroundings we have in our little valley. This field just happened to be right across the street from this sweet family. Enjoy your sneak peek!

Beckie: LOVE that family picture and the hot pink looks rad!! So, when are you coming to Colorado??? hint, hint
