This sweet family only had one request for their session.  They wanted a memory of the Provo River.  Luckily the Heber Valley has plenty of beautiful locations overlooking the Provo River… if you can avoid the fly-fishers!  We thankfully found a spot that wasn’t busy and had the perfect backdrop.  Their little girls were such troopers and did great taking pictures.  Enjoy your sneak peek “P” family.  I can’t wait for you to see the rest!

P family: Laura! These are so great. And I am blown away by the picture of the two girls. I cant believe you got that shot with all of the squirming. I seriously cant wait to see the rest. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of photographing this amazing family.  A few of the kids are moving across the country to attend a few different prestigious universities.  Since this was the last time they would be all together for a while, they made sure to document this stage in their life with a family picture.  It was great to meet you all.  Enjoy your sneak peek and I will have your full gallery up shortly.

Congratulations to the G family for winning the Cutest Kid Contest I ran last month.  I will post more from their amazing session over the next few days.

There are finally signs of spring showing up everywhere.  The birds are beginning to return, the tulips are poking through the ground, the snow is melting, and we can finally see our grass again after 4 months of it being buried.  It is time for a sale to celebrate Spring.  Have you bought the most adorable Easter outfits and need great pictures to go along with them?  Do you have a baby that has grown and changed since thier last pictures at Christmas? Do you want to freshen up your walls and get some great new pictures hung?  Now is the time.  I only do a special like this twice a year.  Email laurameans@me.com to book today!

As always, you will also receive the watermarked web-sized versions of your gallery images for Facebook, email and blogs.

Despite below zero temperatures and a foot of snow, we were able to get some great family pictures for this sweet family.  We spent a total of ten minutes outside since it was so bitter cold.  (I think it was -5 at the time)

Snow doesn’t have to keep you from getting family portraits.  I will be running a “Winter Portrait” special after the New Year so you can have a memory of what our beautiful state looks like the other six months of the year.

In other news, I am officially on vacation from sessions until January.  I plan on spending the next three weeks with my children enjoying the holidays and the snow, and then my husband and I will be off to Hawaii for 9 days beginning the day after Christmas.  I will still be doing newborn sessions so please contact me so I can get you scheduled.

For now, enjoy the snow and the beautiful mountains…

The outdoor mini-sessions must take place in Heber, Midway, Charleston, Wallsburg, Kamas, Woodland, or Park City, Utah.  Call now if you want to get on the schedule!

I had the pleasure of meeting these gorgeous girls… (Don’t you love their hats?)

Don’t forget, the cut-off for Christmas portraits is November 21st.  Make sure you call now to get on the schedule!

Do you remember this sweet newborn?

She came back with her whole family for a mini-session.  They all looked adorable and did such a great job. (And doesn’t mom look great?!? I need to know your secret!)

Speaking of mini-sessions, I only have 3 spots left if you want an outdoor session….

It is time for another installment of What to Wear.  Living in a resort town means that I get a lot of inquiries for Vacation Photo Shoots.  I don’t blame the people vacationing here.  It is absolutely gorgeous in this valley and it is such a great place to capture fun memories.  This version of What to Wear offers ideas for an extended family photo session.  Just think what a great gift it would be to Grandma and Grandpa to round up all the family and create a multi-generational portrait.

I had the pleasure of spending time with this gorgeous family tonight.  I think that people that live in Utah are some of the most beautiful people in the nation.  Here are 2 quick peeks.  I will post more tomorrow.
