This sweet 5 year old just had her first violin recital and her mom wanted to document the exciting time.  She is certainly a little prodigy… she was the youngest to perform and the next youngest student was 2 years older than her.  Keep up the good work!

Anne: SO SWEET! I love the little movement in her hair and how you captured her sweet eyes looking up! Great job....Missed shooting with you this weekend!

Last month my last baby turned 2 years old.  It is hard to believe how quickly the time has passed since the day she was born.  So many things have changed in those short 2 years.  She went from being a tiny 7 pound baby that was entirely dependant on me to ensure her survival to being a spirited toddler that constantly tests my patience.  Her appearance has dramatically changed as well.  If I didn’t have photos of her as a newborn, I wouldn’t remember how she was born with dark hair and chubby cheeks.  I wouldn’t remember the flaky skin and little white spots on her nose.  I wouldn’t remember how tiny she was and how she could rest comfortably in the crook of an arm.  Photographs help us to remember the times and memories we can never get back.  Now that the weather is warming up it is the perfect time to book some spring portraits of your children… after all, they are only young once!
